Monday

Solstice

Thank goodness.
With today being so short of daylight, it was nice of Mother nature to give up some rain and wind to fill out the 24 hours we call December 21st.
% inches since 11 pm last night, wind hit gusts of 55 knots at 4:30 this morning.
I know it was 4:30 because I passed a clock on my way to investigate the loud banging coming from the backyard.

We have three new trash cans this morning.
And maybe a new dog.

I was hoping to polish off the sup today but it will wait till tomorrow.
Like most things shaper/customer related, expectations and reality are too far apart.
I do not shape quads because I, me, myself, for me, etc, don't believe they work to any certain degree.
And on a sup?
Why don't we just toss an anchor on it for even more drag.
I swear surfers will suck up anything if its attached to enough hype.
My goodness, think for yourself.
Then watch some video of you surfing and see that your 'style' really doesn't fit in with the quad thing.
The flat part in front of the wave is where you bottom turn.

Too much to ask, I am sure.

Well...
Thats it from here.
Leaving tomorrow for points south.
See ya.
